Letter from Mendel Wolfson

As it happens, now in Malmesbury I am with my relation Kretzmar. He writes a letter home, so I will make use of the opportunity to greet my dear landsleit, to inform you that I am very well. I have my own business in Cape Town. Please give my regards to my dear parents and family. It will be late before I get to Cape Town. I will miss the mail, and I will save writing an extra letter, so please assure my family that I am very well. I get on well in my business, I am very happy that I have met my friend and landsman Kretzmar, and we have enjoyed our time together, Mendel Wolfson.

We have not heard from him since he went into the army. Please reply in detail.
